Thank you to all the children who performed so well in the Nativity!
You are amazing!!!
On Monday we will perform to the whole school, we will take a photograph of all the children on stage, just in case you missed it.
Next Friday is Christmas jumper day, don’t forget to wear your best sparkly jumper!
This week we have been focussing on the number 8, we have made 8 in different ways and talked about the numbers which are one more or one less than 8.
We are also working on number recognition and putting numbers in the correct order.
The children enjoyed sharing their favourite stories and we chose to read a story about a Unicorn and Sproutzilla.
Old favourites like Gruffalo and Stick man were popular too.
We have also been on a Winter walk.
The children all have a list of friends as you may want to write some Christmas cards for some of the children in the class.
Next week in maths we will be exploring the number 9. How is 9 made up? Can you show 9 on your fingers?
In PE we will complete our last Yoga session with a Christmas theme.
We are starting to think about the Christmas story, wrapping presents, writing Christmas cards and making Christmas lists. We will be reading lots of different Christmas stories and singing some fun Christmas songs.
We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday for the Nativity.
Please drop off as normal and go to the office to sign in, the performance will start at 9.15 in the hall.
If there are any parents who would be able to help us get changed, please let Miss Maxey know if you can help.
See you there!
