Reception 7/6/20

Here are some pictures from home and school from our learning last week.

Our story for this week is Super Worm!

Thank you to everyone who is sending in work. Please continue to send work in. Please read everyday. The children working at home should be working towards Early Learning Goals to support the transition into Year One.

Please have a look at the link

Please remember when you are writing the children should be having a go at sounding out using their phonics skills to write their sentence independently.

Please also remember that we write using lower case letters, using the Read Write Inc rhymes to help us.

Have a great week.

Reception 1/6/20

Hi everyone,

hopefully you have enjoyed the half term sunshine and managed to go out, following the guidelines of course!

Our Topic for this term is Marvelous Mini Beasts, we will have a story focus each week and will be exploring the outdoor environment to see what we can find.

A magnifying glass and a bug collection pot would be great to have at home.

Our first story is The Hungry Caterpillar, I read this to the children before half term and you can access it again using the link below or watch the animated version.

Please see the home learning sheet for this week, please continue to complete work at home.

I am looking forward to seeing some of you on Thursday this week, please look out for important information sent to you from the school office.

This is a really lovely video to share with the children and start the discussion about social distancing when we begin to see each other again. Please watch together and talk about how we can all look after each other in different ways, whilst staying safe.

Hi everyone,

We hope you are all well.

Unfortunately there is an issue with uploading documents and photographs to the blog.

Hopefully this will be resolved by 12 pm tomorrow and the home learning for the week will be shared then.

Take care, hope you’ve all had some fun in the sun!
